5 little questions?

Since my husband and I are both teachers and this is really the fist summer that we have both been off there seems to be a lot of time to “just talk” which has been interesting, our conversations are very random but I thought it would be fun to see what you all had to say about the topics .

1. Which pet to you prefer? Dog or cat or other
2. How much TV to you watch a day?
3. Which to you prefer Mac or PC?
4. Growing up did you like going to school?
5. What emotions to you usually feel on the first day of school?

  1. 1. We have a bulldog and a poodle (but I grew up on a farm with tons of different animals, so I like them all!)
    2. Right now too much! But I really think the TV shouldn’t be on before…5 pm. Too much TV drives me nuts!
    3. We are in the market for a new desktop and we are leaning more to a MAC but they are so expensive!
    4. I always loved school! I couldn’t wait to go to school!
    5. So far I’ve been real excited to see my classes but at the same time I try to remember to stay strong, and stern.

  2. 1. I prefer dogs. I love taking them for walks and playing frisbee with my daughter's dog, Angel.
    2. I only watch about 2-3 hours per week but many weeks go by where I don't watch any TV at all.....especially during the school year.
    3. I am partial to MACs and have used one for the last 8 years.
    4. I enjoyed school. My favorite part was picking out new school supplies!
    5. I am very excited about the first day of school this year because I am currently working on a summer crew so I know that my two campuses will be set up and ready to go when teachers come back. I'll have more time to work on other things and hopefully it won't be so hectic.

  3. 1. Hard question! I love my weiner dog, but I am having fun with my new house guest which is a cat. He is playful, and yet independent.
    2. Not much tv right now - too many reruns. But when the new season starts, I like to watch some shows! So probably 3-4 hours per week in the fall.
    3. Right now I am a PC, but two members of my family have switched to MACS and they love them. I feel a tug to go MAC when we replace our old PC.
    4. I loved elementary school, but middle school and high school were difficult.
    5. I am excited to meet my new students and parents, but it is also mixed with a little anxiety about how the year will go. Getting back into the work routine takes some adjustments.

  4. 1. I love animals, but prefer cats because they're low maintenance.
    2. Too much to admit.
    3. I started out learning on a Mac, but PC was next and became easy over time. Now, I'm back to a Mac and it's a big learning curve. Hard to break habits!
    4. I loved school but don't want to ever go back!
    5. I'm always excited and nervous. You never know what to expect!

  5. Hmmm...
    1. cats (I have 2 one weighs almost 30lbs)
    2. I was doing pretty good not watching t.v. until BB started again! LOVE IT!
    3. PC because I know what to do...but want to have a mac and get CREATIVE!
    4. I love the social aspect of school...sorry to say I never was much of a student! ooops...
    5. OOHHHH the first day makes me NERVOUS!

  7. 1. Dogs! I like their personalities.
    2. Too much in the evenings but during the day (even when I'm off) I usually don't even turn it on. Of course, I like sitcoms; my husband likes the news.
    3. I'm great at using a PC so that's always been my preference but I just got a Mac and it's growing on me.
    4. I loved the academics but stank at the social stuff. I was a late bloomer and pretty geeky - or at least I always felt geeky. College was a lot more fun.
    5. Nervous and excited. Every year is a new one and I can't wait to see what it holds.

  8. Great questions!
    1. I love cats AND dogs, but my husband is debilitated by cat dander, so cats are out of the question. We have a poodle/bichon mix named Roxie and she's a sweetheart.
    2. I'm an addict.
    3. I've never used a Mac, but I think I'd love it since it can do so much with graphics.
    4. I made excellent grades, fist-fought other students A LOT, spent way too much time in the principal's office consequently, and was a cheerleader...a mess of contradictions!
    5. Nervous but happy anticipation. I know that many of us love the smell of new school supplies and we buy way more than we can ever use. :)

  9. This is fun!

    1.) I love cats!!
2.) I watch way too much TV, especially in the evening. I need some veg time :-)
3.) I am a Mac person. There is so much I can do with pictures and video.
4.) I actually enjoyed going to school. I made good grades and was involved in so many extra-curricular activities. I always felt I was missing all the good stuff whenever I had to miss school.
5.) I am excited and nervous, but sad. I am excited to see the new bunch of students that I will have and nervous for the same reason. I am sad because I am no longer at home with my kiddos (I love my time with the my kids!).

  10. 1. I am a dog person. In fact we have a very spoiled rat terrier who thinks she is human and thinks she is in charge.
    2. I watch very little TV. A year ago we got rid of cable and I have gotten out of the habit. Do love the biggest loser though!
    3. Always been a PC person, but recently got a macbook and it is growing on me.
    4. I did like school until I got to middle school. In elementary I loved going!
    5. When I was in the classroom I would always get sick to my stomach the first day. Now that I am a facilitator, it is a lot different, it is just another day.
